The staff were so friendly and helpful from registration, food, bar service and providing information. I was made feel very welcome. Definitely coming back.

We really enjoyed our short stay with you.The room was very clean and spacious.Perfect for us.We had a meal in the evening which was also of a very high standard.Loved breakfast in the coffee shop.My husband was delighted to get his porridge!All staff were also very hospitable.We travelled over from Louth to join in the celebrations.Our son has always been a mad Mayo supporter and my Dad was born in Mayo and spent his chiildhood there..We are thrilled for everyone in Mayo.Thanks for making us so welcome and we will definitely be back.Thanks again Nora and Conor

Centre of town. Excellent staff, couldn't do enough for you Great breakfasts. Good food. Plenty of rooms to accommodate our large group. Function room ideal for our party. Great spot for celebrating Mayo's All Ireland win ...up Mayo!.

Very warm (can't believe I'm complaining about that). Mattress a little hard. Issue with the water in some rooms, not mine, but I had to share lend my shower to my brother's family.

Durkins was a wonderful during my visit for a family reunion! Jo, the manager was extremely accommodating regarding an issue with my room. The staff was very friendly, clean towels daily and the food in the restaurant was delicious! I’d definitely return!

I cannot remember the lady receptionist name, the lady with blonde hair, she was so helpful. I had an asthma attack due to the high temperature and the humidity, she did all she could to accomodation us with an airer room. Friendly and helpful staff makes any business.

The staff and managers were amazing. The hospitality, excellent service and facilities were excellent. The young staff in particular were so courteous and provided excellent service.

New staff were so helpful, efficient and friendly. Room was perfect Food was plentiful and perfect. The service was top class. To the new staff and ownership of Durkins, take a bow for changing it around as well as you have.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Nice hotel with good staff. Great sized room which was well located in the town and it had good parking facilities. Breakfast was okay. Durkins provided gluten free to cater for coeliac s but a breakfast buffet would have been nice. Hot breakfasts were provided but fruit, yoghurt etc. would have been welcome. All in all - a nice hotel and one which I am happy to recommend.

Just that breakfast options could be better.

The breakfast was excellent. The waitress serving us was very attentive. Nothing was a bother.

Just because of the weather the rooms were very hot. The manager did get us a fan which was very much appreciated.

central location...easy distance from Airport....food excellent.....friendly helpful staff....great for attending my niece's 5oth birthday party in on-site function room.

ALL staff polite friendly and very helpful both in the hotel, bar and restaurant. The place was spotless which is always the sign of a well run hotel. WELL DONE TO ALL.

Only drawback might be the lack of air conditioning in the rooms but this was only a drawback because of the extremely warm weather at this time. Windows were accessible so you could have easy ventilation,

The staff were amazing made us feel welcome and went above and beyond especially Joanne she was fantastic the food was also delicious would definitely highly recommend
