Our stay with Durkin's was absolutely wonderful. All of the staff were caring and courteous. Eileen was absolutely wonderful and tended to all our needs. She went out of her way to make our stay delightful. Joey was always courteous and knowlegeable of everything on the menus. Aepha Spellman was delightful to talk with. The cleaning crew did amazing work in keeping our room spotless and renewing our room supplies. Thank you all for a wonderful stay in Ballaghaderreen!

There was nothing that we did not like about our stay! It was truly amazing.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Very friendly staff. The room was big and on the second floor towards the back of the property. Easy to access via a lift or stairs. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good. The bathroom was very small but the shower was amazing, with great water pressure.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
There was a hot and a cold tap in the wash hand basin and the hot tap was very hot. Could probably have a sign to warn people about the hot water as I almost burnt myself. There was also a buzzing noise coming from the bathroom area and seemed louder at the wardrobe part which was behind the bathroom and unfortunately at the head of the bed, so I ended up sleeping the other way round on the bed. I normally bring earplugs for work trips but forgot them this time, and they would have blocked out the noise. I'm very noise and light sensitive unfortunately at night. The one other thing is the only window was a skylight, which was open and too high up to close. I didn't mind that but was worried about the light in the early morning as there wasn't a blind or curtains. So the next morning, the light didn't wake me, it was the lowing of cattle from a truck out the front :-D , my colleague in another room also was woken by the cattle. That's the country for you :-D

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely and clean hotel with a comfy bed and a bonus lots of parking at the rear. Breakfast was amazing will definitely stay again when we are next in Ireland.

The room was a bit cold when we arrived at 4.00 pm. The radiator appeared to be off. When we enquired - we were told the heating was timed to come on at 5.00 pm. When we asked again - this changed to 6.00 pm. On returning to our room later - after 111.00 pm - we found the radiator still cold. It did heat up the following morning.

The Staff were awesome! Super friendly and helpful When we arrived I was really hungry and making all sorts of irregular requests because I have digestive issues and food intolerances and the young man working in the restaurant was really going out of his way to make sure that i could be happy and well fed!.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Just one little thing, we stayed in room 201 and I would suggest putting a black out blind up at the window as there is a bright street light just outside the window. We hanged a blanket up at the window to block out the light so we did manage to sleep but a black out blind would be better. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

We have booked two rooms. One of the rooms had a buzzing noise coming from a smoke detector and he couldn't sleep.

I stayed in Room number 201 and did not sleep as there was a light right above the window that made the whole room bright all night.

The last staying at durin's the single beds not comfortable but I hope next time I get better room and bed
