Durkins is right in the center if town and supports the community. Its lively to see this restaurant bar and accommodation doing well. The staff were very efficient and helpful and you could see it is well run. The breakfast was lovely . Thank you

Great place to stay 10/10 Friendliest staff and nothing was a bother to them. Food was a 10/10 as well, , will definitely be back

Great value for money, comfy beds! Staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast is really good, don’t miss it! They were also relaxed about the check out time which was really great, we didn’t feel rushed at all.

Very modern with a lift. Quiet. Only missing was a fridge. Tea and coffee much appreciated. Shame breakfast started at 8.00 as I’m an early riser. Dinner was nice too

At a time of grief, it was wonderful to receive such a warm welcome from owner, Joanne & all her staff. The breakfasts are home cooked and delicious. We enjoyed lunches and dinner with good choices on the menu. I would highly recommend the hotel for people travelling to the West to take a break and stop for a night or two and also it would be a welcome stop for people travelling to Knock or the airport. Like all rural towns Ballaghaderreen is picking up and convenient for some of the old style shops, a good Boutique for ladies all with friendly & helpful service. There is an excellent Supervalu which carries some excellent & unusual wines and a wide range of goods.

Perhaps the music could be updated & more varied to include light jazz, classical & recent popular music! This hotel deserves something more discerning that the jaded 60s tape on a loop! not a complaint, but rather a suggestion!

The location is perfect in the centre of the town. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, could not find any fault and fast service.

The warm welcome, from owner, Joanne, friendly staff & excellent standard of food and accomodation. We plan to return anytime we are in the area and highly recommend it. This establishment is a huge asset to Ballaghaderreen.

The Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, with a great choice of Menu. I would have no hesitation in recommending Durkins Hotel .
